Description
The best that France has to offer when it comes to citrus combined in one drink. Corsican ruby-red grapefruit forms the basis of the drink. Halved fruits are macerated in grape distillate, and a second batch is made using only grapefruit peel. Some of the grapefruit juice is also boiled down into a concentrate. It is then married with other citrus peels, gentian and cinchona bark to create a harmonious aperitif bitters. Eau-de-vie from the Charente completes the overall picture.
