Description
Contrary to popular belief, potatoes are by no means the original ingredient for vodka. Vodka was first mentioned in documents in the 15th century, while the potato only became widespread in Europe in the 18th century. Nevertheless, it is possible to distil tasty, characterful vodka specialties from it. Chopin, reminiscent of the Polish-born composer Frédéric Chopin, is one of these representatives.
